Successful first stage for Slovakia but Borgar Haug the star

First place in the initial stage group for Jakub Zelinka, Stefan Peko and Daniel Orac; there were prosperous times for the host nation in the initial phase of the Boys’ Singles event at the 2018 Slovak Junior Open in Senec on Saturday 19th May.
All three were amongst the seeded players and expected to progress; the bonus was Filip Delincak; he finished in second place in his group behind Argentina’s Alexis Orencel, notably accounting for Norway’s Finn Vetvik, the no.14 seed (11-8, 9-11, 12-10, 8-11, 11-4).
